With Fallout 4 Seasons, it comes with 4 versions, one for each season (obviously). I walked from Tenpines Bluff over to Thicket Excavations and I was constantly checking the compass to make sure I was going in the right direction. With an ini tweak found in Commonwealth Conifers, you can make the Forests a thick and lush forest that you can get completely lost in if you don't have the compass on. I originally wanted to use the Ressurection mod, but it got pulled due to stolen content. I don't have it installed yet, but I'm considering adding the snow from Nuclear Weather especially for the Winter version of Fallout 4 Seasons.įrom there, Grasslands, Commonwealth Conifers and Fallout 4 Seasons tries to make nature come back to the world with a vengeance. True Storms Wasteland Edition is nice for the variety of weather, although I think it makes the Glowing Sea look like the rest of the wasteland (no green haze) until you entire it and the sky changes. I used to not really pay much attention to the roads when wandering, but from time to time I feel compelled to follow them to see where they go. New Roads Enhanced improves the roads of the world, and I find the roads really pop out from the surrounding terrain. Although a lot of these overwrite a lot of files these mods include, they still provide anywhere from 900-2000 files that are not overwritten by any other mod installed. The following list are the mods that probably improve the widest array of stuff, and I have a lot more specific mods that overhaul specific things not included, but if you do a search on the Nexus for something you want to mod, you can probably find most of the ones I'm using.įallout 4 Texture Optimization Project, Optimized Vanilla Textures, Grafix Texture Overhaul are all loaded first, and get overwritten by everything else that come after it. My mods folder is 35GB in size, but because I use Mod Organizer, a vast majority of space is files that are overwritten by other mods, so the game is not loading that amount of data at all. I've run around the world and not noticed a single issue with performance, and went with 4k or 2k versions of any mod available. I'm planning to add a 1TB SSD exclusively for games, but haven't ♥♥♥♥♥♥ around to it yet. I have a very similar set of mods similar to Scarecrow, and a very comparable system, and I get no noticable issue with performance, running around the world, in combat, and I've gone with 4k textures where possible.
